I have been a long time fan of Chloe and dreamed of the Faye bag since high school so I was ecstatic when I received my Chloe Faye wallet on a strap.
I purchased the Faye wallet on a strap from SSENSE which is located in Montreal; in this post I will talk about my first impressions on the wallet on a strap as well as my first time using SSENSE to make a purchase.
First Impressions Faye Wallet on a Strap:
I ordered this in the black leather and suede combination as I had heard negative reviews on the wear of this collection and wanted to get something to test it before considering to make the plunge to the bag itself. Upon opening the package I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was inside of a cute little Chloe dust bag. The wallet on a strap is absolutely gorgeous with the smooth leather and the suede flap however I was worried about damaging it as it looks quite fragile, I feel like this might just be me worrying about the wallet though since I’ve dreamed of the Faye collection for so long. (I will post an update on how it is doing in about a month!)

Now being able to purchase the wallet for a little bit of a better price than I would have with Chloe was a great deal and the free shipping to Canada is great. I did upgrade to the 1 day shipping for $10 as I thought that was a great price for shipping. It came on time and miraculously came a few minutes before I left home to go to school for the day which was a plus and made my day 10x better. When I opened the dust bag it came in the bag was packaged so nicely to keep it from getting damaged with the hardware being wrapped and the padding inside along with the authenticity card from Chloe. All in all I would say it was a great first time purchasing from SSENSE and I look forward to my next purchase with them and suggest using them as a online shopping site if you are interested in luxury goods or want to see what they’re all about.
