Loving Lately: Lived in Jeans by Mother Denim

Mother Denim is a fan favourite in the Fashion World, loved for it's super soft fabrics and perfect fits. Made in L-A.

For years I've struggled buying myself clothes I felt comfortable in and this year was no exception. With covid weight gain I've put off wearing anything but leggings or sweatpants but I missed feeling good about myself and what I was wearing as opposed to just being comfortable in baggy clothes.

As of late I've missed dressing up, doing my hair and putting effort into how I look. I was looking for a pair of "Covid Jeans" and found a beautiful pair of Mother Denim with a lived in look.

This pair was flattering and accentuated my waist with a high rise fit and button closure instead of the standard zipper. (Honestly love button closure so much more than zippers as someone with a wider frame.)

I feel that while years ago the skinny jeans that were super clean with no fraying or wear to them were what we loved, but now with how life is we're looking for things that we feel comfortable in.

Enter, Mother Denim The Tomcat.

This look is like the boyfriend jean but better, loose fitted so that you can sit comfortably but still feel like you look good. I've found that all of my favourite pairs, with the best fit, softest fabric and most comfortable shape have been Mother Denim, with a vast size range unlike many other brands. (Honestly how hard is it to find a pair of jeans out there in a size 34 when most brands stop at 30?)

If you're located in Victoria you can see a wide selection of classics and unique styles by Mother Denim at Bernstein & Gold located on Yates Street or shop Mother Denim online.

Here is a look at some of my favourite styles:

Can you tell I love cropped/ ankle jeans?

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more fashion and lifestyle related posts coming every second Sunday.
