When you're working out the last thing you want to be thinking about is whether you're supported in the places you most need to be and whether there's spillage and readjusting your clothes, these are my go to pieces that are carefree for those High Intensity Workouts.
I prefer the 6" length over the 4" as I find anything less will tend to roll upwards and I'll constantly be pulling it down. With the 6" I can adjust it however I want and not have to worry about it throughout my workout. To note the Lighter colours have 2 layers of fabric and can be a bit of an annoyance to pull back on mid workout when you're sweaty. The darker colours like the black and navy still seem to be just 1 layer of fabric, to me these fit like a second skin.
While I'm a big fan of Energy Bra in general and love the longline version as well I do find that if you're trying to get through your workout carefree the standard length is a better option as the longline version tends to roll up and requires readjustments throughout your workout. With a variety of colour options and new seasonal colours it's a great staple for usage on it's own and as layering under a tee or tank.
Personally if I'm working out I can't layer with a tank or tee because I feel constricted if I'm wearing a tee so that's why I love the Energy Bra. Holds you in place perfectly without risk of falling out and is perfect for high intensity workouts.
Like many others I prefer to wear shorts for my workouts but on the occasion that I feel like it's too cold or have all my shorts in the laundry I'll wear Tights instead. Although there is the centre seam which many of us ladies don't like these have been my go to tights due to the fact that they can withstand either a run or bike ride, weight training too without showing the sweat marks as much as I found others to. Plus the waist tie is a bonus in my opinion to keep them in place.
The Wunder Train Shorts are my second favourite shorts from Lulu at this time especially for days where I know I'm going to get extra sweaty. I do suggest the 6" length over the 4" length for these as I personally find the 4" length rides up.
On rare occasions I am happy to wear a tee when working out and if I do I love my Cropped Short-Sleeve Shirt, great for arm days where you're looking for a little cover but don't want too much and personally I find the regular length to be too long so it bunches up when I'm working out or I end up sitting on it. Additionally it pairs great with high-waist shorts or leggings.
What are your top pieces? I'd love to know!
Thanks for reading, and until next time.
