Sephora Haul: Clean Beauty & Makeup

Updated: May 16, 2022

After waiting for months to hit the "place order" button I finally did... three times. Whoops!

I tend to put the items I'm looking at in my Sephora basket and leave them until I'm ready to place the order, which sometimes can be months... if not longer. I tend to prioritize many other things over skincare and beauty products, but Kieran often reminds me that when I look after my skin or even take the time to put on some makeup it makes me feel that little bit better about myself.

Tower 28 BeachPlease Lip + Cheek Cream Blush, Bronzino Illuminating Cream Bronzer & SuperDew Shimmer Free Highlight Balm.

Since I have very sensitive skin I've had a hard time finding makeup and skincare that didn't make my skin break out and so a few years ago I slowly started changing things from my collection out to only Clean products. Surprisingly enough it turned out that I hadn't placed a Sephora order in quite some time and had actually lost my VIB Rouge status and all of it's perks.

I decided to place an order that had been in my cart for maybe about 3 months and of course... I didn't even think to wait for the Sephora Sale! But I ended up placing a second order since I had purchased mostly skincare in the first order.

The second was some makeup I had been wanting to try from Tower 28 Beauty, which I am now completely smitten with. With creamy smooth blushes, highlighters, bronzers and lip glosses this is very well one of my new favourite brands.

In my third and final order, I got a variety of things that I had been wanting to try since it was actually my birthday present from Kieran. I ordered everything from skincare, to gel eye patches, blush and lipgloss and even more. And even better, with the wide variety of brands at Sephora I was able to find everything I could have wanted without the chemicals.

If you, like me have sensitive skin a great way to look through products is by looking for the "clean" sticker or selecting the "clean" section on the Sephora site. All clean products are free of parabens, sulfates, gluten and more.

Since my last order, I of course have more products in my cart but I'm just waiting till I find everything I want.
