Located at 762 Yates Street in Victoria, BC
Since moving downtown in February we have been trying to visit more local restaurants and shops. As soon as Momo Tea opened on Yates Street it was on my list of places to visit and then finally this week I had a chance to.
Momo Tea is a dessert shop specializing in Bubble Tea, Ice Cream and Milkshakes located in downtown Victoria.
When we were walking home yesterday I saw the light hitting the building so I told Kieran we needed to come back for photos. We went home, got Callaghan, my camera and away we went. I got some photos of the exterior and then I got to go in. The interior was so cute, a wooden bar area set up near the front windows and a few tables along the side wall.
I ordered from their favourites list and I'm so happy I did, I chose one Bubble Tea and one Ice cream and just wow. They were both beyond amazing, the bubble tea was maybe a little too sweet for Kieran but that meant more for me!
The gentleman working behind the counter was very kind, and when I asked if I could take some pictures inside he was more than happy to let me and even turned on the over head lighting for me. I feel that I got some truly amazing photos the lighting of the sunset and the interior lighting really helped to showcase the space and their delicious goodies!
Both items that I ordered had Oreos in them although I'm gapping on the names. I know that I want to try the Tiramisu flavour as Tiramisu is one of my favourite things but Oreos are also just yummy. So good!
The way that the Oreo Ice Cream was displayed was too cute, with the mini Oreos on either side of the swirls. Honestly I felt bad eating it because it looked too cute.
